Step 1: Contain the paint not to spread it wide or deeper. 

•  Place paper towels around the paint to keep it from spreading and also lift the towel from underneath to keep from pressing the paint deeper. 
• Use dye free towels to blot the spilled paint. Do not scrub; only blot or you may damage the fibers. Soak up as much of the paint as possible as you can with the towels without making it worse. 

Step 2: Mix one teaspoon of a mild soap with warm tap water.

• The soap must be a small portion to be easily rinsed. 
• Blot gently on the paint deposit.
• With towel soak up with cold water. 
• Repeat as often if necessary to remove stain.
