Multi-Step Carpet Cleaning Process:Carpet Cleaning Castle Rock Co

At TLC Carpet Care in Castle Rock we let you know of what to expect with your carpet cleaning service, along with a step by step of the process and why each step is required for quality carpet cleaning.

  1. Pre-Vacuuming. Dirt and contaminates that gets buried deep in carpets typically consists of gritty and abrasive sand and/or dry clays. This dirt is insoluble in water, which makes pre-vacuuming before steam cleaning the carpets very necessary to remove it. Aggressive dirt can cause wearing of a carpet by tearing at the carpet and wearing the carpet fibers resulting in damage. More than 90% of the soil in most carpets is dry particulate soil.
  2. Pre-Conditioning. The remaining soil in your carpets is composed of oils, iron, and oils. This type of soil is alkaline by nature and will require an acidic cleaning to reverse the carpets ph. If you understand the carpets pH-factor, you will have an understating of how carpets need to be cleaned. We will pre-spray your carpet with an enzyme based pre-spray to break up the soil from the carpet fibers.
  3. Pretreating. We will pre-treat all difficult spots like coffee, mustard and such on your carpet fibers.
  4. Steam Extraction. Most likely, this is the carpet cleaning process you will be most familiar with. This is where TLC Carpet Care's technician, equipment and cleaning agent takes place. This step will fully remove the enzymes and extract the remaining soils from your carpets, leaving the carpets and residue free. This carpet cleaning step is the reason all major carpet textiles like Shaw Industries recommends this process because it is the best way to extract everything from your carpets.
