STEP 1- Wipe the glue off the carpet with a dry hand towel starting on the outside go the glue and working your blotting towards the inside as not to spread the glue. Of course this only works if the glue is still wet. Carefully remove as much glue off the carpet as you can with the slightly damp towel.

STEP 2- Pour some white vinegar and water onto the hand towel and scrub the glue off, using circular motions. Don’t scrub too hard, or you will fray the fibers and also change the carpet’s texture.

STEP 3- Pour just a little warm water on the glue stain, let it soak for five minute, then gently bot it with a dry hand towel. The glue should come right off.
