What To Do Before Your Carpeting Is Cleaned:

Before your carpet cleaning technician arrives be sure to leave a parking spot for the van as close to the front door as possible.  The closer the van is the less hose the technician will need and that makes the dry time less. Make sure to vacuum prior to our arrival to remove any loose soiling, pet hair and debris. Please remove any breakable items that could be easily knocked over as well as any pictures, or glass items on tables. If you have any plants or other floor decorations be sure to remove those as well.  If there are any items in the office such as boxes, files or chair mats please have those items picked up. Remove any light furniture that you also may want moved. In the bedrooms make sure that all clothes and shoes are picked especially in the closets, and tuck in bed skirts off the carpets as well. If there are any curtains hanging off the carpets please fold those up two feet off the carpets. Finally if there are any kids and pets make sure they are not around during the carpet cleaning process. 

Post Carpet Cleaning Instructions:

Be careful walking from wet carpet to hard surfaces, especially from stairs to hardwoods. Wet floors can be very slippery, so use extreme caution, safety first.  Keep pets and children off of the carpet until the carpets are 100% dry. Do not move any furniture back until carpets are dry. If at all possible stay off the carpets until they are dry. You want to avoid soiling the carpets during the dry time.
