Carpet Cleaning & HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CLEAN MY CARPET? CarpeT Cleaning Castle Rock 

As the owner of TLC Carpet Care and answering phones for the past 25 years I always get the most commonly asked question. How often should I clean my carpets.  I have had some Castle Rock customers who cleaned a few times a year and then I have people say that they have not ever had their carpets cleaned. Many time their reason are based on misinformation that lead to carpets that are neglected and and ready for replacement inside of 5 years. One misconception is once you get your carpets cleaned you have to clean all the time cause they will get dirty quicker. This is based on the 1980's when shampooing carpets was the process that the carpet cleaning industry relied on. The problem with that process is more often than not shampoo would be left in the carpet and that shampoo would just attract more dirt and yes the carpets would get dirty faster. However that was old school, now currently thru advanced technology of steam cleaning carpets, there is a rinsing process and thorough extraction as well so that nothing is left in the carpets not even a residue. So no today's carpet cleaning process will not cause your carpets to get dirtier quicker.

However an empty nester or single people may be able to clean maybe just once a year. Sometimes you may need to clean the entire house and then sometimes maybe just some high traffic areas.
